Jreena Green is a Creative Producer, Movement Director, choreographer and performer, specialising in dynamic, story-driven movement for film, television, theatre and live events. Her work bridges commercial, cinematic and theatrical worlds, with a distinctive expertise in jazz, swing and African American vernacular dance forms.
As a performer, Jreena has appeared at the Lincoln Center in New York alongside legendary dancers Norma Miller and Frankie Manning, and was a leading dancer with the internationally renowned Jiving Lindy Hoppers. She is the director of her company Jazz Dance Elite, which tours nationally with the acclaimed production Swinging At The Cotton Club.
Jreena’s screen and commercial choreography credits include major global brands such as Guinness, Marks & Spencer, Balmain, YouTube, Google, KFC, Mr. Muscle, Grand Marnier and Levi’s. Her film and television work includes choreography for The Phantom of the Open (Working Title Films) and the ITV drama series Three Little Birds. She recently appeared in Netflix’s Tyler Perry feature film Six Triple Eight.
Her performance and stage credits include lead roles in Falling (Green Candle Dance Company), Mrs. Wobble (The Josephine Baker Show and The Joe Harriott Show, he latter two of which she also wrote and produced. Jreena has performed in West End musicals, toured internationally with established musical acts, and was part of the original cast of the Tony Award winning production The Lion King.
Jreena served as Dance Captain for the London 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony and has extensive experience delivering large-scale movement direction for live events, feature films and music-led productions. She is also the lead historical dance choreographer for projects including collaborations with The La Twins and the Nicholas Brothers Stormy Weather biopic short documentary.
Her work has been recognised with multiple dance awards, including honours from One Dance UK for a Marks & Spencer Christmas campaign. Known for her ability to translate authentic dance language into bold, contemporary visual storytelling, Jreena continues to create compelling movement for stage and screen worldwide.
